If you enjoy taking long walks, you must visit one of the longest promenades on the coast of Montenegro – Šetalište 5 Danica, which connects Herceg Novi to Igalo. Besides the wonderful view, you will have the opportunity to visit the remains of Forte Mare and Citadela forts. Also, along the whole length of the promenade there used to pass the narrow gauge railway and its popular «Chira» train.
Right here, next to the old railway station, on the «Škver» square, is the location of «Feral», one of the town's best taverns. Built in the original maritime style, with a beautiful garden, you will easily recognize it by all the greenery and the shade. Naturally, as with most coastal taverns, here you can order always fresh fish, seafood and shells – wonderfully prepared by the owner and exquisite chef, Ms. Nada. Professional and polite staff, a good wine card and the excellent local wine are sufficient recommendations for a unique meal.
