Konoba kod Vlahovica | Kolasin | Montenegro

On the upper square in Kolašin, facing the statue of the national hero Veljko Vlahović, lies the Konoba at the Vlahović’s. This fairytale style wooden house opens its doors to guests at 8 in the morning and remains open until almost midnight. The konoba has a warm home-style atmosphere with an interior that features a lot of natural wood and a large fireplace in the middle of the konoba for keeping warm on those cold winter nights. The konoba also features several traditional items such as hand-made curtains and for a moment you will feel as if you are in an ethnographic museum more than in a mountain konoba. The pleasant hosts also contribute to the warmth of this amazing little house. Here it is a must to try Kolašin cheese made from skimmed cow milk as well as the village style meat.
