Konoba Grispolis | Bigovo | Montenegro

The konoba “Grispolis” is located in Trašta Bay, in a small fishing village called Bigova, about 15 minutes by car from either Tivat Airport or Kotor. Its namesake derives from the one-time old settlement and port of Grispolis from the Classical Period, which centuries later was destroyed in an earthquake. The selection of fish, crabs and mussels is very extensive because the owner and his sons are all fishermen. Before they prepare your meal they wheel out the day’s catch for you to select from. We recommend they prepare your fish in the traditional Boka Kotorska style. The wine list is very interesting. This location is quite ideal after swimming at any of the small intimate beaches on the other side of the bay or if you happen to be sailing in the area. If you enjoy a relaxed coastal atmosphere, ask in the restaurant about staying overnight, they also have rooms for rent.
