Kolašin | Montenegro

Kolašin is another important ski centre of Montenegro, located at the altitude of 964 metres, 75km from the capital. Kolašin is more geared towards sports tourism, and you can go rafting, cycling, horse riding, exploring caves, fishing or going on a picnic by the Biogradsko jezero.
If you want to experience genuine highlander lifestyle, local tourist agency «Jelka Tours» (www.vilajelka.cg.yu) organizes excursions to an eco-village on the Bjelasica Mountain (at the altitude of 1759m), where you can spend the night in one of the log cabins built for two and have a chance to try fresh local delicacies in the morning.

Contact local tourist agencies for one-day or longer excursions. • The Canyon of the river Tara • Canyons of the rivers Morača and Mrtvica • Morača Monastery (13th century)
